The PDC players are converging on Crawley right now, as tonight starts a long weekend of events – starting with the qualifiers for the 2nd European Tour event, this time in Berlin. The world’s top 32 automatically qualify of course, while 68 players will compete in the UK Qualifier for the tournament. The German Darts Championship event, worth £82,100, will be held at the Tempodrom in Berlin from June 22-24. A total of 20 players will come from the UK Qualifier TONIGHT, with a further eight players winning through the European Qualifier in Bruehl on June 2 and four players coming from the Home Nation Qualifier in Bruehl on June 1.

The UK Qualifier, which will be held tonight (Friday May 25) at the K2 Centre in Crawley, will feature 68 players in action – with the competitors including
Michael Smith, who hit a nine-dart finish in the inaugural European Tour event in Austria last month.
Justin Pipe, who defeated
James Wade in the final of Event One (and picked up a very tasty £15,000 winners cheque), will be the number 13 seed for Event Two following his rise into the world’s top 16.
